George Thomas Coates became a "local preacher" (lay minister) in the early days of the
Free Methodist Church. He seems to have moved about a number of times, holding revivals
and planting churches in Ontario, Kentucky, Tennessee, Colorado, and Oregon.
He died and was buried in Roseburg, Oregon. |
